Best of luck to our Irish athletes competing in the WKF Series in Tbilisi this month! Representing Ireland are Jessie O’Reilly (Female Kumite -50kg), Caitlin Kelly (Female Kumite -68kg), and Dean O’Mahony (Male Kumite -75kg). We wish them every success on the international stage.
Best of luck to Conor O’Sullivan at the WKF Premier League in Istanbul! Conor will be representing Ireland in Male Kumite −67kg at one of the most prestigious events on the World Karate Federation (WKF) calendar. The Karate1 WKF Premier League is the highest level of international league competition in karate and is restricted to the world’s top-ranked athletes, with only competitors ranked in the top 32 globally in each category eligible to enter. The event brings together the very best karateka from around the world, making qualification itself a significant achievement. We wish Conor every success as he competes on the world stage in Istanbul.
Our selected U21, Junior and Cadet athletes will be heading to Limassol, Cyprus next month to represent us at the 53rd European Karate Championships. This prestigious event brings together the best young karate talent from across Europe, and we are incredibly proud of our athletes for earning their place on this stage. We wish them the very best as they compete, gain invaluable experience, and showcase their hard work and dedication at international level. Let’s go team!
